Bromley Parent Voice
About Bromley Parent Voice
Bromley Parent Voice is a forum that aims to be a voice to inform service providers of the needs of children and young people with a disability or additional needs, and their families, in the London Borough of Bromley.
When Bromley Parent Voice came to us their email was in a mess, their website didn’t work properly and they had no back-up to help them when things went technically wrong. On top of this they didn’t fully understand how to use the internet to benefit their organisation and were disillusioned in general due to the widely conflicting information they had been given from other web design and online marketing companies.
The website they had before we re-built. It wasn’t fit for purpose in any way and was difficult to use, outdated and not mobile or tablet friendly. We built a new online community that was easy for everyone to use and allowed them to update the website on a regular basis, ensuring that the news and content was always up-to-date.
Throughout the build process we closely supported Bromley Parent Voice and held their hand, advising them on best practices, helping them to understand exactly what we were doing, why we were doing it and what benefit it would have to them. We continue to support them supplying and setting up email accounts, hosting their website and providing technical / IT support on an ongoing monthly basis.
The outcome was one of immense relief and reassurance on their part, knowing that we are there for them to advise, guide and support them whenever they need us. They have also built up a huge member database of well over 1000 parents now their website inaccessible and easy to use.
