TRKG Healthy Living (TRKG for short) is a Surrey based company producing a delicious range of sugar free, calorie free, Vegan friendly flavour shots to add flavour and sweetness to your food and drink.
The Requirements
The Problem
The existing website was originally built by us in 2014 when the company was still in its infancy. Since then, the functional needs of the website and the popularity of the company has grown rapidly and has generated a huge, loyal customer base. Due to company growth, the website needed to accommodate additional back-office functionality for TRKG to streamline the pick/pack/dispatch and accounting processes, along with a super-easy ordering/user experience for both new and returning customers; as well as other various tools that we developed to allow TRKG to maximise on their new website, such as incentives, discounts, free gifts and more.
The Solution
We started by planning the technical specification – or the blueprint – for the new website with a number of meetings with TRKG. These meetings allowed us to sit round a table and discuss and understand exactly what they wanted the new website to be able to deliver for their customers and to make their internal processes more streamlined when orders were coming in thick and fast. Based on all their functional requirements, the technical specification was produced and approved by TRKG.
The next step was to design the artwork for the new website pages; a clean, modern, and functional design was required that wouldn’t date quickly, along with the ability to update and refresh the website from a creative point-of-view as and when needed to ensure the website always retains a contemporary, modern look and feel.
The final step was to build the new website, ensuring that all the technical functionality that TRKG required was built, tested, and signed off in stages. It was essential we made sure that all the back-office streamlining and functionality that TRKG required worked exactly as they wanted, as well as an improved, efficient, easy to use website with outstanding user experience for their customers. We also integrated several third-party (API) services including a stock management system and delivery company integrations including Royal Mail and Parcel Force.
