Swap Nation (formerly known as The Dress Change) is a women’s fashion portal that connects users through the website and allows them to swap items of women’s clothing and accessories.
The Requirements
The Problem
The idea for the website came about after our client had a good old clear-out of her cupboard! With such lovely items of clothing with little wear but no longer required, our client wondered if there was a way to swap items of clothing with others. Having researched online, it was decided that whilst there is Social Media to potentially swap clothing online, there isn’t a dedicated online portal that allows women to connect with one-another and swap items of clothing and accessories.
The Solution
The project was based around one requirement – to quickly and easily swap all items of women’s clothing and accessories, such as dresses, tops belts, bags and everything else in-between.
There was a need to ensure the whole process was efficient with a customer ratings system to rank users after the swap has taken place, as well as a way for users to create profiles, create wish-lists, update the status of the swap and more.
