Laser Quest is the UK’s leading and most popular Laser Tag attraction with over 40 locations across the UK and Ireland. The players are equipped with an infrared/laser hand held unit and a pack that’s worn with infrared targets. The game is played in large multi-level, maze-like arenas filled with lights, music, special effects and themed walls and props.
The Requirements
The Problem
Laser Quest GB needed to build Social Media awareness of the franchise to both customers and operators, to extend the franchise network and build footfall across Laser Quest venues. Their existing website was not mobile friendly, looked dated and did not rank well on Google.
The Solution
The first step was to create a new, fully mobile and tablet friendly website that was both engaging to customers and potential new franchise operators. They also wanted a fast, easy to use location finder tool so customers could quickly search for their nearest Laser Quest venue by postcode or area.
For the marketing and online brand development we built a Social Media profile on Facebook and Twitter to encourage both B2C and B2B interest and awareness, and maintained the website from an SEO perspective, ensuring that the website was always fully compliant and well optimised for Google. Since we started working with Laser Quest GB in 2013 they have reported a 20% jump in monthly website visitors and Google now ranks the LaserQuest website on page 1 for both the main website all their locations.
